RISE Retreat – Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in RISE. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By booking a RISE retreat, you acknowledge that you have understood and agree to be bound by these terms, as well as all relevant laws and regulations. These Terms may be updated periodically, and it is your responsibility to review them for any changes.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and RISE ATHLETE LTD (“RISE,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing our website at riseathlete.co.uk or any related digital platforms, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.

We may revise or update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services signifies your acceptance of any modifications.

2. Eligibility

Retreat attendance is restricted to individuals aged 18 or over. Anyone under the age of 18 is not permitted to participate.

3. Payments and Cancellations

Participation Requirements

Guests must be able to travel independently to the retreat location. Full payment for UK retreats is due no later than 12 weeks before the scheduled start date. Failure to make full payment by this deadline will result in cancellation of your booking without refund.

Deposit

A refundable deposit equal to 20% of the retreat fee is required to confirm your booking. This deposit is refundable if cancelled more than 90 days before the retreat date.

Guest Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds are issued according to the timeline below:

  • 90+ days prior to retreat: Full deposit refund.

  • 60–89 days prior to retreat: 50% refund of the total cost paid (excluding the 20% non-refundable deposit).

  • Fewer than 59 days prior: No refund will be provided.

We do not offer refunds for early departures, non-arrival, partial stays, or any room downgrade requested more than 24 hours after booking.

Cancellations by RISE

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a retreat. Should this occur, we will aim to reschedule the retreat within 24 months. Your deposit may be transferred to the new date or refunded, subject to non-recoverable costs already incurred. We are not liable for travel or other expenses incurred as a result of a cancellation.

Transfers and Changes

Requests to switch to a different retreat week can be made more than 90 days prior to the start of your original retreat. A £150 administration fee may apply, along with any difference in cost for the new accommodation option.

Participants may transfer their booking to another person at no additional charge, provided RISE is notified in writing at least 7 days before the retreat start date.

4. Damage to Rooms

Any damage caused to accommodation or retreat property will be charged to the payment card on file.

5. Comments and Complaints

If you become unwell or have concerns during your stay, please notify the Retreat Manager immediately. We reserve the right to reject complaints after departure if we were not given the opportunity to resolve the issue during your visit.

6. Room Sharing

Where room sharing is selected, RISE accepts no responsibility for disputes or issues arising between guests sharing a room. Room shares are assigned according to same-sex policy unless otherwise agreed.

7. Health and Safety

All guests are required to sign a waiver prior to arrival. Participation in all activities is voluntary, and you acknowledge that you assume all associated risks. Any medical conditions or special requirements must be disclosed at the time of booking.

8. Indemnity & Assumption of Risk

By attending a RISE retreat, you agree to indemnify RISE against any injuries, losses, or damages sustained during your stay, including those relating to optional activities or treatments.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials, branding, and content available on our website or provided during the retreat are owned or licensed by RISE and protected under copyright and trademark law. Content may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Photo & Video Release

By attending a retreat, you grant RISE permission to capture and use photographs and video content featuring you for marketing and promotional purposes.

11. Privacy

Booking a retreat signifies your acceptance of our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

12. Termination

These Terms of Use apply for the duration of your use of our website and services. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time and for any reason.

13. Miscellaneous

These Terms represent the full agreement between you and RISE. If any section is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
